1. Who this policy covers
This policy applies to gutter companies that buy quote requests (“form leads”) or calls (“call leads”) directly from SirGutters. We work to send only real homeowners who want gutter work, but now and then a lead that doesn’t qualify gets through. When that happens, you can return it within 7 calendar days of delivery.
If you get SirGutters leads through a lead partner, that partner’s return policy applies instead. If your written agreement with SirGutters sets different return terms, the agreement controls.
2. Reasons a form lead can be returned
- Outside your area or service. The ZIP code is outside the area you buy in, or the request is for a service you told us you don’t offer.
- Duplicate. You received the same homeowner more than once through SirGutters. Keep the first one and return the rest.
- Invalid contact details. The phone number is disconnected, not in service or reaches someone else, and the email bounces or is missing. Requests with a fake or nonsense name, profanity or a public landmark as the address count too.
- Not the homeowner. The person doesn’t own the property and can’t arrange gutter work there, and can’t put you in touch with someone who can.
- Never asked to be contacted. The person tells you they didn’t send the request.
- No response after real effort. You first called within 30 minutes of delivery during business hours (8 a.m. to 8 p.m. the homeowner’s time), made at least 15 attempts by call, text and email in the first 72 hours, and never reached anyone. Send a timestamped log of every attempt.
3. Reasons a call lead can be returned
- Wrong number, misdial, a robocall or a call with no one on the line.
- A sales call, job seeker, vendor or anyone else who isn’t a homeowner looking for gutter work.
- A caller outside your area, or asking only for a service you told us you don’t offer.
- A repeat call from the same number that we already sent you within the return window.
4. What can’t be returned
- Leads older than 7 calendar days when you start the return.
- A homeowner who hired someone else, decided to wait, thought the price was too high or simply didn’t book after you reached them.
- A homeowner you reached who asked for a service you offer, even if the job turned out smaller than you hoped.
- Leads you resold, shared or contacted in a way our terms don’t allow.
5. Anything else
If your reason isn’t listed, you can still ask. Send as much detail and proof as you can, such as call recordings, text or email screenshots, or property records, and explain why the lead should be returned. Returns sent without details or proof aren’t reviewed.
6. How to start a return
Email listings@sirgutters.com with “Lead return” in the subject line and include:
- for a form lead, the homeowner’s name and phone number and the date it arrived;
- for a call lead, the caller’s number and the date and time of the call;
- the reason for the return from the lists above;
- your proof, such as a call log, a screenshot of your CRM with timestamps, or a recording.
The more detail you send, the faster a return clears.
7. What happens next
- We receive your return, along with everything you attached.
- We check it by hand, and email you if we need anything else. Most returns are decided within 2 business days of having your details.
- If we grant it, we credit the price of that lead toward your future leads. If we deny it, we tell you why.
We watch return rates. A company that returns an unusually high share of its leads may be asked for more proof, or have its returns reviewed more closely.
8. Changes and questions
We may update this policy. The new version applies to leads delivered after it’s posted, and the date at the top changes with it. Questions? Email listings@sirgutters.com.
